Boilers Fired with Natural Gas:
Natural gas fired boilers generate steam which is an efficient and reliable source of energy used in a variety of applications including central heating, various manufacturing processes, and refinery applications. Rentech products that are best suited for this application include direct fired packaged watertube boilers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with a supplemental duct burner option.

Boilers Fired with Hydrogen:
Rentech is proud to offer alternative fuel systems utilizing hydrogen in lieu of natural gas or fuel oil. When used as a fuel source, hydrogen emits fewer greenhouse gases and is an environmentally friendly alternative to standard carbon-based fuels.

Boilers Fired using Renewables:
The combustion of biomass, landfill gas and similar solid waste is another way to generate heat in a more environmentally friendly way. Rentech products that are best suited for these applications include direct fired watertube boilers, and waste heat boilers.

D Type
The flexible design of our D-type boilers make it well suited for most applications. The conservatively sized furnaces are optimized to meet demanding emission levels while ensuring the longevity of your steam boiler. Superheated steam can be provided with single stage or dual stage convective superheaters, and Rentech’s supeheaters are always designed to be fully drainable. D-type boilers are recommended for capacities from 20,000 lb/hr (9,000 kg/hr) to 600,000+ lb/hr (275,000+ kg/hr)
Project Two
O-type boilers are symmetric allowing for easier shipment via rail or truck. The O-type boiler is the preferred arrangement for the rental boiler industry with some units being designed with an integral trailer to allow for quick shipments. O-type boilers are recommended when a footprint is limited up to 100,000 lbs/hr (45,000 kg/hr) steam
